I was born in Solihull in the West Midlands in May 1988.

 Education:

Having lived in Solihull all of my life I attended a local primary and secondary school. 

Further Education:

Having completed my GCSE’s I decided to take further qualifications, I studied at Solihull Sixth Form College where I attained a BTEC in Fine Art. Whilst studying for my BTEC I took a night school course at the school of jewellery where I gained knowledge of basic jewellery craft skills.

Having attained distinctions at BTEC in fine art at sixth form, I went to Birmingham City University full time to study HND in Jewellery and Silversmithing.

After successfully achieving my HND I decided to enhance my training by remaining at the BCU where I have completed my BA Hons Degree in Jewellery and Silversmithing, Design for Industry with a First Class Honours. 

Jewellery Experience:

During my studies I worked part time at Davran Jewellers Ltd where I made crucifixes and various sizes and types of locket. Davran Jewellery Ltd specialise in jewellery made by master craftsmen using traditional time-honoured skills at their workshop in Birmingham's famous jewellery quarter.

I have also had experience working with Michele White who is based in Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter and is an acclaimed British Contempoary Jewellery Designer, Maker and Gemologist.

I am currently working for Nick Hubbard who operates from his work shop in Burntwood Staffordshire. Nicks work is exhibited in over 80 outlets throughout the UK and overseas. He has several well known clients and celebrities. I approached Nick as I hoped to work for him to gain further experience as Nicks jewellery is figurative and whimsical and similar in style to the pieces that I was manufacturing for my final degree project. 

Hobbies:

I am a very crafty person, I love to create things with my hands, I have grown up making cards, clay pots and jewellery etc.

I also love to be outside, walking and camping. It is this love for the outdoors that has inspired many of my jewellery pieces.
